HISTORICAL USES
SAW PALMETTO BERRY Helps with infertility and libido. Inhibits formation of dihydratesterone. This helps with prostatic hyperplasia that includes painful or difficult urination and dribbling of urine. Helps with inflammatory orchitis and epididymitis.
STINGING NETTLE ROOT Protects against prostatic hyperplasia. Human clinical trials have shown that stinging nettle root reduces clinical symptoms of BPH.
WILD YAM antispasmodic- reducing muscle spasms and cramps. May increase energy and labido.
ECHINACEA Protects against tissue decay, prevents the dispersing of infection through cellular and lymphatic channels, deters the breakdown of hyaluronic acid and may help protect tissues in cases of infection and inflammatory processes.
YARROW Antimicrobial, alternative, diaphoretic, vasodilation, hypotension, and anti-inflammatory.
PARSLEY Numerous studies show parsley to be a strong antioxidant, circulatory enhancing, and helpful in reducing cramps. Parsley is specific for urinary symptoms with itching and or burning. It also contains hormonal regulating and anti-inflammatory coumarins.
DONG QUAI Blood mover; for vascular congestion, heart disease, inflammation in the vasculature of the brain, organs, and tissues. The polysaccharides in Dong Quai may protect a variety of tissues that include heart, neurons, and reproductive organs from oxidative stress by blood and endothelial protective effects.
DAMIANA A traditional medicine for sexual debility, impotence, incontinence in the elderly, anxiety, fatigue, and low labido.
MARSHMALLOW ROOT A mucilaginous herb that aides the bowels, mucus membranes, lungs and kidneys. Soothes inflamed and irritated tissues and can reduce swelling. May help soothe burning urination and kidneys that are inflamed.
